She Will Press Over Broken Ground resulted after visiting Julie Schenkelberg exhibition: Color of Temperance: Embodied Energies presented at the Mattress Factory Museum. Returning to the museum with permission of the artist, I brought a young neighbor to respond to the installation. The resulting images evolved from witnessing the interaction of an actual young child among the invented rubble.
